PinkDrive 2026: Breast cancer examination

15 May 2026

On Tuesday the 12th of May, the female staff team of Apollo Solar Technology were implored to go for a breast cancer examination at the PinkDrive truck as part of promoting wholistic wellness that is encouraged for all our team members. At Apollo Solar Technology, we believe that building a sustainable future goes far beyond solar systems, infrastructure, and innovation. It also means building a workplace where people feel valued, supported, protected, and genuinely cared for.

As a family-founded business, family has always been at the centre of who we are. That culture extends beyond leadership and into every corner of our company. Every employee who walks through our doors becomes part of the Apollo family and we believe that when people are cared for, they thrive both personally and professionally.

For us, this was about more than partaking in a campaign. It was about reminding the women within our business that their health matters. Their wellbeing matters. Their lives matter. In fast-paced industries such as energy and infrastructure, workplace culture can often become focused solely on performance and output. While excellence remains important to us, we also understand that strong businesses are built by healthy, motivated, appreciated people.

For us, creating a positive workplace culture means:

  • fostering unity,
  • supporting employee wellbeing,
  • encouraging openness,
  • creating safe spaces,
  • and ensuring that employees feel seen beyond their job titles.

At Apollo Solar Technology, we are intentional about cultivating a work environment rooted in respect, humanity, teamwork, and care. We celebrate wins together, support one another during challenges, and continuously strive to create a workplace where employees feel proud to belong. Because at the heart of sustainable business is sustainable people. As we continue powering homes, businesses, and communities through renewable energy solutions, we remain equally committed to empowering the people who help make that mission possible every day.
